Ginny & Georgia season 2 picks up two weeks after the season 1 finale, with Ginny and Georgia not on speaking terms. If you recall, the first season ends with Ginny and Austin riding off into the night on Marcus’s motorcycle after Ginny discovers that her mom murdered Kenny.

In a flashback scene on that same night, Georgia returns home from Paul’s re-election ceremony to find Ginny and Austin gone and her wolfsbane plant burnt to a crisp in the fireplace. Georgia now knows that Ginny knows her darkest secret. Ginny and Georgia constantly bump heads but always manage to come back together and patch things up. Principal photography on Ginny & Georgia season 2 took place from Nov. 30, 2021, to April 28, 2022. The cast and crew returned to Toronto and Cobourg, Ontario, Canada, to film the second season. Actually, many of the filming locations from the first season were used for the second season.

Filming locations included different places on King Street in Downtown Cobourg, the Parkdale-High Park district in York, Toronto, and the defunct Nelson A. Boylen Collegiate Institute. Blue Farm Cafe, which is Joe’s (Raymond Ablack) restaurant in the show, is actually a gastropub called The El. The El is located in Cobourg on King Street. Scenes were also shot in and around the historical Victoria Hall on King Street, which doubles as Wellsbury Town Hall.

The Millers and Bakers homes can be found in the Baby Point neighborhood of the Parkdale-High Park district in Toronto. Therefore, any scenes shot outside the houses took place in the Baby Point neighborhood. In addition, all of the Wellsbury High School scenes were filmed at the defunct Nelson A. Boylen Collegiate Institute in Toronto. Lastly, according to IMDb, many of the show’s interiors were filmed at a production studio in Canada called TriBro Studios.
