Kaleidoscope recap: Pink: 6 Months After the Heist
In the aftermath of the heist, everyone is in hiding. Ava and Leo are together, Stan and Judy are in South Carolina, and Roger has since ended up in jail. Bob is alive, but badly injured. He can barely talk. He visits Roger in jail and asks for money in exchange for hunting down Leo and getting Roger revenge. Roger accepts. Bob is determined to kill Leo and Stan, and find Judy.
He and his goons track Ava and Leo down. Leo isn’t doing well at all. His Parkinson’s has progressed significantly. Ava and Theresa are the ones who engage in a firefight with Bob and his guys, but they eventually overpower them.
When Leo comes out to help, they take all three captive, forcing them to give up Stan and Judy’s location or die. Bob tells his men to shoot the women first and make Leo watch if he doesn’t return in time.
Stan and Judy have been running low-level cons with the little money they got from the heist. But they’re almost out of cash and running out of options. They reach out to Leo for more cash, which is how he knows where they are.
Luckily for them, the FBI intercept Bob before he can find them and take him down. But Judy finds his money and steals it, implying she’s going to bail on Stan and disappear on her own.
Back at Leo’s, the trio escapes, but Ava is shot and killed by one of Bob’s guys in the scuffle. She dies in Leo’s arms.
Leo finally reaches out to Hannah after. She’s doing well with her newborn baby daughter, but she and Leo haven’t seen each other in a long time.
Kaleidoscope Pink ending explained
Leo visits Roger in jail. We learn he has 20 years, though he’ll likely get out in eight. The reasoning for Leo’s visit seems mainly to give both of them closure. Roger admits he’s not sure if he could have saved Lily or not during their old heist.
In the final moments of the episode, a man follows Leo into a tunnel and appears to shoot him dead.
