Emily in Paris season 4 release: When could the next season arrive on Netflix?

Emily in Paris season 3 is streaming on Netflix! If you’re anything like us, you probably already made your way through the 10-episode season. Now, you’re left wondering when the upcoming Emily in Paris season 4 will come out. Sadly, Netflix hasn’t disclosed this information yet. However, we’re always open to sharing our release predictions in the meantime.

The third season of the romantic comedy series found Emily in more trouble with her career and love life. At the beginning of the season, she had to choose between working with Madeline at Savoir/Gilbert Group or joining Sylvie and the rest of the former employees at a new marketing firm. She also had to figure out if she wanted to make a long-distance relationship work with Alfie.

Everything eventually worked itself out for Emily as usual, but at the end of the season, she finds herself facing a new dilemma with Gabriel. We weren’t expecting that shocking cliffhanger at all!

The season 3 finale perfectly set up the story for the fourth season. But when could Emily in Paris season 4 arrive? We shared our release predictions on when the series could return below.

When could Emily in Paris season 4 arrive on Netflix?

Emily in Paris seasons 3 and 4 were rumored to be shot back to back. However, the third season’s production schedule was the only schedule made public knowledge. The official Emily in Paris Instagram page and Lily Collins announced when filming had started. Lily Collins also announced through her Instagram account when filming had wrapped on the third season. However, we haven’t heard a peep from the cast, crew, or Netflix about production on Emily in Paris season 4. So, it’s unclear if filming has even started on the fourth season.

Back in September 2022, Variety reported that seasons 3 and 4 were currently filming in France. But it’s weird that nobody from the cast or Netflix ever announced that filming had started on Emily in Paris season 4. They’ve done this for previous seasons, so why not for the fourth season? Our guess is that production has not yet started on the fourth season.

If this is true, we could be looking at a filming start date sometime in June 2023 and a wrap date in September. This would be similar to the third season’s production schedule, where filming started in June 2022 and ended that September. This would also set up another December release which is when we’ve seen the past two seasons come out. For now, our best release prediction for Emily in Paris season 4 is sometime in late 2023.

Of course, this is all speculation. If production on the fourth season has already started or wrapped, we could see Emily in Paris season 4 much sooner than late 2023. Who knows, maybe they’ll start shooting sometime in early 2023. But we would still see the fourth season sooner than in late 2023.
