Harry & Meghan volumes 1 and 2

The documentary series Harry & Meghan is an in-depth look at the lives of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their high-profile love story. The series consists of six episodes and will take viewers from the early days of their romance to the challenges faced due to their standing in society, which led them to back away from royal life. Friends and family, who have never gone on record previously, will give commentary on their perspective of Harry and Meghan’s relationship. Historians will also speak about the current state of the British Commonwealth and the royal family.

The Recruit

The Netflix original spy adventure series The Recruit is now available to stream. The new show was created by Alexi Hawley and follows a CIA lawyer, Owen Hendricks (Noah Centineo). During his first week on the job, Hendricks receives a threatening letter from a former asset who is set to expose the organization unless she is acquitted of her crimes. He ends up entangled in international affairs, which becomes more dangerous and complicated than he expected.

Don’t Pick Up the Phone

The latest crime docuseries Don’t Pick Up the Phone is a three-part investigation into a hoax caller from the 1990s, who talked restaurant managers into strip-searching employees. The hoax began in 1992 and would carry on for 12 long years, with 70 occurrences being reported. The caller would target small-town restaurants and grocery stores where they would then convince managers of the establishments to conduct strip searches of female employees, or once a customer, on “behalf of the police.”

Last Chance U: Basketball season 2

The second season of Last Chance U: Basketball will focus on East Los Angeles College (ELAC) and give viewers a glimpse into the world of college basketball. Directed by Greg Whiteley, Adam Leibowitz, and Daniel George McDonald, the second season picks up after COVID caused the abrupt end to ELAC’s 2020 Championship run. Head Coach John Mosley and his team, mostly made up of brand new players, are excited to get back to playing basketball in this honest and gritty look and college basketball. The players also share their personal off-court challenges of family instability, mental health, homelessness, and more.

The Hills seasons 1 and 2

Fans of The Hills, the MTV reality series that aired from 2006-2010, are excited to learn that the series has released seasons 1 and 2 on Netflix. A spinoff of Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, this series follows Lauren Conrad as she moves to Los Angeles to pursue a career in fashion. Each episode begins with a voiceover by Conrad highlighting what’s to come in the episode. The series then follows Conrad and her friends as they navigate their personal and professional lives.
