Our mouths have been salivating ever since Netflix released the new baking competition series Bake Squad. The show is filled with so many scrumptious-looking pastry dishes that make us want to become pastry chefs just like these expert competitors so that we, too, could have a chance at getting our cakes praised by the talented Christina Tosi.

One season simply isn’t enough for new fans of the baking show, and we’re also in agreement that there definitely needs to be a second or third season renewal sometime soon. How many seasons of Bake Squad are there?

Currently, there is only one season of Bake Squad available to watch on Netflix. The pilot season has eight episodes in all with each episode being less than 40 minutes in duration.

Will there be a Bake Squad season 2?

Yes! On Dec. 13, Netflix finally and officially announced that the baking competition series would be back for a second season. Bake Squad season 2 has been a long time coming for fans who have been waiting over a year for news about the show’s fate.

Although we had been slightly worried about the radio silence, we knew culinary shows such as this one tend to do relatively well on the platform. Nailed It! is currently on its seventh season and other Netflix baking and cooking series have also released multiple seasons.

How many episodes are in Bake Squad season 2?

Similar to its freshman season, the upcoming new season will also have another eight episodes for fans to devour. Deadline notes that the episodes will each be around 35 minutes in length. Christina Tosi will be back to host, and the episodes will feature Ashley Holt, Christophe Rull, Maya-Camlle Broussard, and Gonzo Jimenez as competitors.
