There are a bunch of new movies and shows coming this week, including a new Netflix original movie, a new special based on a Netflix series, and a new cooking show.

The biggest show coming this week is The Recruit. Starring Noah Centineo, Laura Haddock, Vondie Curtis-Hall, Fivel Stewart, Colton Dunn, and Aarti Mann, the series hits Netflix on Friday, Dec. 16, 2022. It follows a lawyer at the CIA during his first week on the job. He discovers a threatening letter from a former asset and this leads him into the dangerous world of international politics. Looking for a new cooking show? Cook At All Costs is headed to the streaming service this week as well. It comes to Netflix on Friday, Dec. 16. The show features three home cooks who start with $25,000 but must use it to buy the ingredients they will use to cook with. Will the cheaper ingredients help them win or the most expensive ones? Whatever they make is judged by a panel of chefs and if they win, they get to keep whatever money they have left in their bank.
