A California Christmas is one of the most popular romantic Christmas movies released on Netflix in the last couple of years. The movie stars real-life wife-husband duo, Lauren and Josh Swickard.

The Netflix original holiday movie tells the story of a con man who tries to convince a farmer to sell his farm to him for Christmas, basically, but then the sparks start to fly.

A California Christmas has “Netflix Christmas trilogy” written all over it. Netflix quickly ordered a sequel, A California Christmas: City Lights, which also stars Lauren and Josh Swickard. The new movie premiered on Netflix on Dec. 16, 2021.

We have a good feeling that A California Christmas 3 is also in the works on Netflix. Stay tuned for more news about the latest Netflix holiday trilogy. It just has to happen. We’ve already seen it for The Princess Switch and A Christmas Prince!
