In the movie, Garcia plays Latin pop star Angelina, whose career could use a bit of new inspiration. When she travels to a small town in New York as an escape from her life, she meets a teenage girl whose own love for music gives Angelina a new perspective. But the pop star might also have an unexpected chance to fall in love with the teen’s father, Miguel (Freddie Prinze Jr.).

The film brings much-needed Latinx representation to romantic Christmas movies and more than honors the culture through its characters and music.
