Brooke Shields stars in the romantic comedy as author Sophie Brown, who makes her way to Scotland with the hopes of purchasing her own castle. Because who doesn’t have that right at the top of their holiday shopping list? When the owner of the castle (Cary Elwes) hesitates to sell Sophie the castle, the pair’s clashes just might lead to some sparks burning up the snowy Scotland winter.

Even though the movie features a comfortably predictable plot, its likable leads are more than worth the watch. Who doesn’t want to see Brooke Shields buy a castle and also probably fall in love during Christmastime?
