In this sequel to 2017’s A Christmas Prince, A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding picks up a year after the events of the first film as a continuation of Amber and Richard’s love story.

After helping Richard secure his title as the king of Aldovia and falling in love with her mark, Amber is now faced with one of her challenges yet: preparing to become queen. It’s not often that romantic holiday movies get the chance to return for a new chapter and fans will be incredibly grateful for Netflix’s decision to do so, as The Royal Wedding is the perfect follow-up film.

We not only get to see Amber and Richard’s relationship blossom more but who doesn’t love a good “Are you really cut out to be queen” storyline or extravagant royal wedding? Because this is a sequel to A Christmas Prince, we highly recommend watching the first film before diving into the sequel which does an incredible job of furthering the story without losing the magic of the original film!
