Are the Love Island USA season 1 runner-ups (Dylan and Alexandra) still together?

Now that Love Island USA season 1 is available to stream on Netflix, have you made your way through the first season? If so, you’re probably wondering if any of the couples are still together in 2022. More specifically, runner-ups Alexandra Stewart and Dylan Curry. We shared what we know about their relationship status down below.

Love Island USA season 1 premiered on CBS in 2019. Based on the popular British series of the same name comes a dating show about a group of contestants all looking for love and a chance to win a $100,000 cash prize. After a public vote for the top four couples of the season, the runner-ups were announced and the winners were crowned in the finale.

During the finale, Alexandra and Dylan came in second place. Alexandra was an original cast member. On Day 4 of the dating game, Dylan entered the villa and picked Alexandra as his first date. Then, at the next recoupling ceremony, Alexandra chose Dylan to pair up with, and they remained coupled up all the way to the finals.

But did their relationship continue after the reality series? Here’s what we know.

Are Love Island USA’s Alexandra Stewart and Dylan Curry still together?

Sadly, Alexandra and Dylan are not still together. However, they did try to continue their relationship after the cameras stopped rolling. After the show concluded on Aug. 7, 2019, Alexandra took to her Instagram account to share with the fans that she and Dylan would be trying out a relationship after leaving the villa.

But in November 2019, the couple decided to call off the relationship and go their separate ways. They publicly announced their breakup through now-deleted Instagram stories. Dylan wrote on his Instagram story, “Alex and I are no longer together.” “Sometimes it just doesn’t work out.” Alexandra wrote something similar to what Dylan said on her Instagram story, “Heartbreak is hard. Our story was a Fairytale romance for me, but sometimes things just don’t work out.”

Alexandra previously spoke with Bustle and said that she believes an injury she got after leaving the show is what damaged their relationship and contributed to its ending. Although they tried to make things work, they realized they were better off as friends.

Both Alexandra and Dylan’s current relationship status are unknown. Our guess is that they’re both single since we can’t find any evidence of who they could be dating on their social media pages. However, there’s a possibility that they could be dating someone but want to keep their personal life private and away from the public eye.
