Are the Love Island USA season 1 winners (Elizabeth and Zac) still together?

If you’re big on reality TV shows and haven’t checked out Love Island and its American counterpart, Love Island USA, what are you doing? The dating show is absolutely addicting as we watch sexy singles get to know one another in gorgeous and exciting locations. The first season of the U.S. version premiered on CBS back in 2019 and has been pretty popular ever since. There are currently four seasons of Love Island USA, with the most recent one being a Peacock original. Love Island USA season 5 is also in the works!

If you haven’t checked out Love Island USA simply because Netflix is your only streaming service, well, you’re now in luck! The premiere season of the reality show was recently added to the platform and it’s clear people are eating it up. Currently, the series sits at the #5 spot on Netflix’s Top 10 shows. Love Island USA doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it’s guilty pleasure entertainment at its finest.

Once you binge through the first season, you’ll probably want to know which couples — if any — are still together today. How about the winners, Elizabeth Weber and Zachary Mirabelli?

Are Love Island USA’s Elizabeth Weber and Zac Mirabelli still together?

Unfortunately, if you were rooting for Elizabeth and Zac throughout the first season of Love Island USA, we’re here to break the bad news that the two are no longer together. The couple definitely seemed like endgame on the show, getting together right away and seemingly falling in love at first sight.

The two became girlfriend-boyfriend on the show and even said “I love you” to each other. They were ready to live happily ever after! Or so we thought.

Sadly, Elizabeth and Zac only dated for a couple of months before calling it quits in 2019. As reported by E! News, the Love Island USA contestants shared the news on their Instagram accounts, with Zac writing: “The breakup was mutual and we have left on amicable terms…We simply wanted different things.” Elizabeth wrote: “Although I had wished things could’ve turned out differently life doesn’t always work out the way we could’ve hoped sometimes.”

Elizabeth also later took to her YouTube channel to talk about her experience on Love Island USA and the couples who got together on the show. She said she and Zac were on good terms, though it doesn’t seem they ever reconciled. Watch her video here:

Fans of the series are no doubt disappointed to know Elizabeth and Zac didn’t make it in the end, but we wish both of them the best!
