Based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Grant Ginder, The People We Hate at the Wedding centers on siblings Alice (Kristen Bell) and Paul (Ben Platt), who attend their half-sister Eloise’s (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) wedding in England with their mother (Allison Janney).

The movie was written by Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin and directed by Claire Scanlon, who previously worked on The Office, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and The Good Place. Beyond Janney, Bell, and Platt, film also stars Karan Soni, Dustin Milligan, Tony Goldwyn, and more.
