Is The Santa Clauses on Netflix?

The Santa Clauses is a highly-anticipated follow-up to The Santa Clause film trilogy starring Tim Allen. The new Christmas comedy miniseries promises to include just as much heart and family fun as the original movies, with many cast members returning, including Allen, Elizabeth Mitchell as Mrs. Claus, David Krumholtz as Bernard the Elf, and more.

Taking place after the events of the 2006 movie The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause, the new show follows Scott Calvin (Tim Allen) as he nears his 65th birthday and realizes that he can’t stay Santa Claus forever. It’s time to retire and start searching for the perfect replacement. But with kids, a big family, and countless elves to please, finding the right fit won’t be easy.

It looks like the new show will consist of six episodes in total. Disney has billed The Santa Clauses as a “miniseries,” but who knows? If the show performs well, the streamer might order additional installments.

Is The Santa Clauses on Netflix?

Since The Santa Clauses is the latest addition to a popular franchise, is there a chance we will see the series on Netflix? Unfortunately, that’s unlikely to happen because The Santa Clauses is a Disney television show, and Disney and Netflix are not on the best of terms these days.

Netflix used to get Disney content, such as Marvel Cinematic Universe films and even some of the newer Star Wars movies, but that is no longer the case. The two companies have reportedly severed ties, and I don’t see that changing.

The only way I could see that happening is if Disney+ went under or something, but Disney+ is one of the most successful streaming services besides Netflix, so don’t hold your breath!
