Netflix is adding 26 new movies and shows this week

A new week is here and that means a bunch of new movies and shows are being added to Netflix. This week the new additions include a new season of a Netflix Original about the royal family, a new season of an action-packed series, and a new season of a travel show.

The first big thing coming to Netflix this week is season 5 of The Crown. It hits Netflix on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022. Imelda Staunton will be playing Queen Elizabeth II and Elizabeth Debicki will take over the role of Princess Diana.

This season will take place in the 90s and will show the breakdown of three royal marriages: Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, Prince Anne and Mark Phillips, and of course, Prince Charles and Princess Diana. It will focus particularly on Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s struggles as they go against each other in the press.

Warrior Nun is also back for season 2. It will be available to stream on Thursday, Nov. 10. The show follows orphaned teen Ava. She wakes up in the morgue with a holy relic transplanted into her back that gives her superpowers. She then joins a secret group of nuns who fight demons that make their way into our world.

In season 2, Ava and the nuns have to find a way to defeat the angel Gabriel before he takes over the world.

Down to Earth with Zac Efron season 2: Down Under is also coming this week. It releases on Friday, Nov. 11. Zac Efron and wellness expert Darin Olien are back to traveling the world but this time, they are headed to Australia. As they travel across the country, they taste local food, meet koalas, and talk with conservationists and environmental innovators.
