It’s chaos at the Registry once news of Anna Ross’ murder breaks. Michaela and Jared take another look at Sam’s house and discover from a neighbor that Sam took in Angelina and Eden. The connection makes Michaela wonder if Angelina’s the killer on a revenge spree, but a trip to Noelle’s house and a visit with the coroner leads them to an Xer named Greg Turner. They follow him to a passenger’s house, but a third passenger dies, exonerating him as the 828 killer.

Meanwhile, Ben looks into Eden’s Calling at the ALNI nursing home, where he discovers catatonic 828ers who had been tested on by The Major. Ben calls in Saanvi, and the pair pose as a couple (and even kiss!), but a nurse catches them with the passengers. The nurse gives in to their pleas to let Saanvi look at their charts when Ben apologizes to Marko and a tear falls down Marko’s face. As Saanvi reads their brain scans, they all start glowing. She later realizes The Major dangerously tuned them all into Divine Consciousness, and to do that safely would have them survive the Death Date.

Zeke insists on getting Cal looked at by a doctor, which leads them to Saanvi’s ex, Dr. Alex Bates. She processes his test under his pseudonym and informs him his condition seems in line with falling out of remission with his Leukemia. Alex advises him to take his mind off the looming diagnosis, and he follows her instructions by going on a karaoke date with Violet. Unfortunately, his cancer has returned, but Jared also arrives with the bad news that he’s wanted for Violet’s murder. Violet was killed by the serial killer, and because Cal (“Gabriel”) was the last person seen with her, he’s wanted by the Registry.

Biggest Revelations:

• Zeke goes to a meeting to start working on his sobriety. He still hasn’t been honest to Michaela about his relapse.
• When Ben returns from his outings at the nursing home and the Bird’s Nest, Eden finally calls him “daddy” and isn’t afraid to be around him.
• While looking over the print outs of the patients’ charts (that Saanvi somehow acquired), Vance discovers Dr. Gupta was involved with their intake exams.
• Ben helps Michaela decipher that her Calling of a bloody X was actually of a cross that’s reminiscent of the one hanging in Noelle’s home. Michaela now pegs Noelle, Angelina’s mother, as the 828 serial killer.
