Netflix is adding 35 new movies and shows this week (Oct. 30)

A new week is here and besides the arrival of Halloween and November arriving, that means a bunch of new movies and shows are coming to Netflix. This includes a new series about an old video store, a sequel to a fan-favorite Netflix movie, and a new season of a series Netflix saved from cancellation.

Blockbuster is one of the first big things coming to Netflix this week. It hits the streaming service on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2022. The ten-episode series is set in the last Blockbuster store in America and follows the people who work there and what they have to do to keep the store going.

The show stars Randall Park, Madeleine Arthur, Melissa Fumero, J.B. Smoove, Tyler Alvarez, Kamaia Fairburn, and Olga Merediz.

The sequel to Enola Holmes is also headed to Netflix this week. Enola Holmes 2 will be available to stream on Friday, Nov. 4. The movies are based on the Enola Holmes book series by Nancy Springer and this one follows Enola as she finds herself involved in a new case. She must look for a missing girl but as she does, a dangerous conspiracy reveals itself. The case becomes so complex that she needs some help from her friends and perhaps even from her older brother Sherlock.

Netflix is adding Blockbuster and Enola Holmes 2 this week.

Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill are back for the second film in the series.

Manifest is also back on Netflix this week. Part 1 of season 4 hits the streaming service on Friday, Nov. 4. The mystery sci-fi series began when a commercial plane (Flight 828) landed but when the passengers disembarked, authorities were waiting for them. Why? Because it had been five years since the plane disappeared.

At the start of season 4, Ben Stone is still mourning his wife and looking for his kidnapped daughter, Eden. He still has his sister to lean on but because of his tornado of emotions, he pushes her away instead of using her to help. And speaking of his sister, she is in a love triangle with Jared, her former fiancee, and Zeke, her husband. The drama!

This week, Netflix is also adding seasons 1-3 of Key & Peele and Young Royals season 2 on Tuesday, Nov. 1. The Dragon Prince season 4 will also be available to stream on Thursday, Nov. 3.
