Halloween season is the best time to revisit one’s favorite horror flicks and check out some nightmare-inducing cinema they may have missed the first time. Among some of the sought-after titles to enjoy on the haunting occasion, The Grudge stands out as a must-watch for many, and some are probably curious if they can find it on Netflix for the devilish occasion.

For those that don’t know, The Grudge is based on a Japanese horror film called Ju-On and the same director, Takashi Shimizu, helmed the American adaptation. The story follows an American nurse living in Japan and the supernatural curse spreading around her.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The Wolf Pack star Sarah Michelle Gellar leads the way in The Grudge alongside a stellar cast consisting of Bill Pullman, Jason Behr, Clea Duvall, and KaDee Strickland. Takako Fuji, Yuya Ozeki, and Takashi Matsuyama reprise their roles from the original as the terrifying trio menacing the characters.

Whether it’s the screaming child or the contorting mother making undeniably unsettling sounds, there are many reasons the creepy motion picture could lead viewers to sleep with the lights on long after Halloween ends.

Is The Grudge available on Netflix?

There is no denying there are probably an ample amount of members out there that would find it ideal to watch the haunting feature on the streaming service. But subscribers shouldn’t hold a grudge that The Grudge is unavailable on Netflix.

Luckily for subscribers, Netflix is never lacking in terrifying horror flicks. Some of the entertaining examples available to view this Halloween season include Blood Red Sky, Mr. Harrigan’s Phone, His House, and Choose or Die.
