Tár is one of the favorites to win big at the Academy Awards, and accordingly, fans want to know where they can watch the film. Tár was nominated for six Oscars, including Best Picture and Cate Blanchette’s Best Actress nomination.
The movie Tár premiered at the 79th Venice International Film Festival, where star Cate Blanchett took home the highly coveted Volpi Cup for Best Actress. The feature has attained universal acclaim, according to Metacritic, and it’s safe to assume plenty of Netflix subscribers would love to see this excellent feature.
The film follows Lydia Tár, one of the greatest living composers and conductors that the world has ever seen. In addition, she was the first-ever female to be named Chief Conductor of a major orchestra in Germany. The narrative offers an insightful and intriguing look into the world of a truly gifted artist.
Todd Field directs the motion picture, with Blanchett starring alongside a talented cast including Nina Hoss, Noémie Merlant, Sophie Kauer, Julian Glover, Allan Corduner, and Mark Strong.

Is Tár on Netflix?
Anything with Cate Blanchett in the starring role is a must-watch for many, and a lot of subscribers would love to watch it on the streamer. But unfortunately, that cannot happen because Tár is unavailable on Netflix.
