Mr. Harrigan’s Phone not only has an excellent soundtrack with music from Tame Impala, KC & The Sunshine Band, and more, but the Stephen King adaptation also boasts a film score composed by Oscar-nominated composer Javier Navarrete, the man behind the haunting melodies of Pan’s Labyrinth.

Whenever I watch new movies or television shows, I listen for good music or songs I can add to my Spotify playlists. This film is responsible for several new additions. The score is emotionally resonant, matching the general tone and vibe of the film overall, while the song choice generally adds to the scenes where Craig is trying to get by as a teenager thrust into something terrifying and potentially otherworldly.

What is the ringtone Craig and Mr. Harrigan use?

Mr. Harrigan is a fan of country and western music. He says his favorite song is “Stand By Your Man” by Tammy Wynette, so Craig makes that song his and Mr. Harrigan’s matching ringtones, so they always know when the other is calling.
