Netflix is adding 60 new movies and shows this week (Sept. 25, 2022)

September is coming to an end but Netflix is finishing off the month by adding a bunch of new movies and shows to their lineup this week. The new additions include a movie based on a popular old show, a new Netflix Original movie about a famous Hollywood legend, and a new season of a Netflix gameshow.

The Munsters is coming to Netflix this week on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2022. The film is directed by Rob Zombie and follows a family of monsters who move from Transylvania to the American suburbs.

The cast includes Sheri Moon Zombie, Jeff Daniel Philips, Cassandra Peterson, Jorge Garcia, Daniel Roebuck, and Richard Brake.

Blonde is also headed to Netflix this week on Wednesday, Sept. 28. The movie stars Ana de Armas, Lucy DeVito, Garret Dillahunt, Adrien Brody, Sara Paxton, Julianne Nicholson, Bobby Cannavale, and Scoot McNairy.

Blonde and The Munsters coming to Netflix this week

The movie is based on the book by Joyce Carol Oates about Marilyn Monroe. But while the movie is based on the true story of Monroe’s life, based on the reviews, it also takes some liberties and includes things that didn’t actually occur in her life.

This week also brings season 3 of Floor is Lava. The game show is based on the kids’ game we all used to play where we couldn’t touch the floor. But the show has a more impressive setup. Contestants must make it over multiple obstacles to get to the top of a volcano if they want the chance to win $10,000. But if they fall into the lava, they lose.
