Tudum 2022 recap: Every Netflix show and movie announcement

Tudum returns today as Netflix rolls out a series of announcements at the virtual event. Find out what announcements were made during the presentation.
On Saturday, Sept. 24, Netflix’s Tudum global event returned for yet another virtual event that promised to somehow be even bigger than last year’s inaugural event.
Across five events unfolding in a 24-hour window, Netflix will brought fans exclusive trailers, clips, and announcements from over 120 series, films, and games, announced by over 200 of their favorite stars at Tudum: A Netflix Global Fan Event!
Among those confirmed to make appearances as hosts of the event were some of the biggest Netflix global stars including Jamie Foxx, Millie Bobby Brown, Noah Centineo, Choi Min-ho, Cho Yi-hyun, Zakir Khan, Prajakta Koli, Maite Perroni, Sheron Menezzes, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan.
The School for Good and Evil, Outer Banks, Wednesday, Alice in Borderland, Stranger Things, Bridgerton, The Witcher, Slumberland, Enola Holmes 2, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery and Emily in Paris were just a few of the many Netflix shows and movies set to be featured across the event which was filled with some amazing announcements and first-looks for fans to enjoy!
Tudum recap (2022) – Netflix shows and movies teased at Tudum
While the Tudum global event kicked off with sessions from Netflix India and Korea, the biggest event of the 5-part event kicked off at 1 pm ET when the Tudum: A Netflix Global Fan Event event kicks off with presentations from the United States, Europe and Latin America coming fans way across a three-hour block.
The session spotlighted some of the many shows and movies in development at Netflix giving fans plenty to talk about in the process as they wait for the Netflix shows and movies to premiere.

Enola Holmes 2 trailer
Kicking off the Tudum event was the star of Millie Bobby Brown who arrived to offer up our first look at Enola Holmes 2 with the release of the first official trailer for the upcoming film arriving this November.
Heart of Stone first look teaser
Gal Gadot, Jamie Dornan, and Alia Bhatt dropped by to invite fans to join them for the wild ride ahead in their new film Heart of Stone arriving in 2023, with a special first look at the upcoming movie.
Bridgerton season 3 premiere title revealed
No Tudum would be complete without some sort of tease from the Bridgerton cast! While we did not get a first look at the new season, we did get the chance to hear a sneak peek of Nicola Coughlan’s Lady Whistledown’s first column of season 3. Oh, and we also received the title of the first episode of the season!
Queen Charlotte First Look
Coming in 2023 is Netflix’s Bridgerton spinoff Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story which tells the story of Queen Charlotte before she becomes the Queen we know and love in Bridgerton. While Netflix wasn’t able to share a full trailer, it instead provided fans with their first look at Charlotte meeting her future husband, King George.
Emily in Paris season 3 release date and trailer
Once again, Netflix used Tudum to announce the premiere date for the latest season of Emily in Paris, confirming season 3 will arrive on Dec. 21, 2022. Not only did we get a release date, but we also received our first trailer for the upcoming season!
Shadow and Bone cast discuss the next season
As we prepare to head back to Grishaverse, the cast of Shadow and Bone dropped in to tease the new season with a look at what’s to come in season 2. While we have to wait for a release date, it has been confirmed season 2 will be coming in 2023.
The Crown season 5 release date
After dropping an exclusive first look at Dominic West and Elizabeth Debicki as Prince Charles and Princess Diana, Netflix confirmed season 5 of The Crown will arrive on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2023.
Slumberland exclusive clip reveal
Jason Momoa was on hand to bring fans their first look at his new Netflix film Slumberland which will be arriving on Thanksgiving Day 2022!
Wednesday first look clip
After confirming Wednesday will be arriving on Nov. 23 the day before Tudum, Netflix served up a first look at the upcoming series via a fun new clip.
Manifest season 4 trailer
As we begin our final descent, Netflix has gifted fans with an extended new look at the first part of the season with the release of the Manifest season 4 trailer.
Never Have I Ever cast tease fourth and final season
While filming has only just begun on the fourth and final season of Never Have I Ever, that didn’t stop stars Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Darren Barnet and Jaren Lewison from dropping in to tease the upcoming final season with promises of new drama, romance and a new heartthrob?!
That’s right Michael Cimino crashed the segment to tease his arrival in season 4 as a new bad boy who seems likely to catch Devi’s eye in the final season. Oh, and did we forget to mention that Barnet also confirmed he will indeed be back for season 4!
The Umbrella Academy season 3 blooper reel
While there wasn’t anything new to tease about the fourth and final season of The Umbrella Academy, our favorite stars from season 3 dropped in to bring fans a new blooper reel full of hilarious moments.
The Recruit release date and title reveal
Star Noah Centineo dropped in to reveal his upcoming spy thriller series will be titled The Recruit, but that wasn’t all he revealed! The new series stars Centino as a fledgling lawyer at the CIA who becomes enmeshed in dangerous international power politics when a former asset threatens to expose the agency and will arrive on Dec. 16, 2022!
Your Place or Mine release date
Looking for a date on Valentine’s Day 2023? Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher have you covered! The pair’s new romantic comedy Your Place or Mine will release on Feb. 10, 2023, just in time for Valentine’s Day!
Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio behind the scenes featurette
Ahead of Pinocchio‘s release on Netflix this December, director Guillermo del Toro offered fans a behind the scenes look at the work that went into bringing the film to life.
Entergalactic exclusive behind the scenes featurette
Kid Cudi and Kenya Barris dropped by to bring fans an early first look at the animated love story and concept album, Entergalactic.
The Redeem Team sneak peek
In the upcoming documentary The Redeem Team, fans will get the chance to see the untold story of the 2008 US men’s Olympic basketball team led by Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James. Ahead of the documentary’s release, fans can check out a sneak peek clip shown at Tudum.
The Mother exclusive teaser
Jennifer Lopez’s The Mother might not arrive until May 2023, but Netflix offered up our first look at the upcoming film about a deadly assassin who comes out of hiding to protect the daughter she gave up years ago during the Tudum event.
You season 4 release date and teaser
We have both good and bad news for You fans. The good news is that You season 4 finally has a release date, the bad news is that season 4 won’t arrive until 2023. While there had been hope the new season would arrive before the end of the year, Netflix has confirmed You season 4 will be coming in 2023 with Part 1 arriving on Feb. 10 and Part 2 arriving on March 10.
The Watcher trailer
Arriving on Oct. 13, The Watcher promises to be a true highlight of the October programming slate and the trailer for the series definitely shows fans are in for quite an intense journey this season!
The Witcher: Blood Origin release date
While fans will have to wait until 2023 for the new season of The Witcher, fans can enjoy the spinoff series The Witcher: Blood Origin on Christmas Day 2022!
