The ever-expanding Star Wars universe continues to outdo expectations with its Rogue One prequel series Andor and many Netflix subscribers are probably wondering if the exciting series is an option on the streaming service.

It’s no secret Andor has been a highly-anticipated project since it was first announced, and its premiere has been met with critical acclaim, earning impressive scores on Rotten TomatoesThe Atlantic called the series “Star Wars at its most mature.”

Set in a time when the Empire’s ruthless reign was virtually uncontested, Cassian Andor embarks on a journey that will ignite the fires of rebellion and forever change the galaxy far, far away. Diego Luna is back in action as the titular character, along with a stellar lineup of talent, including Skarsgård, Alex Ferns, Kyle Soller, Denise Gough, Adria Ajorna, Joplin Sibtain, and Fiona Shaw.

There will be twelve episodes of the initial season, with the second already on the way, adding to the many reasons the Star Wars fandom and all interested parties should not miss out on this gripping tale. But can Netflix subscribers get in on all the rebel fun?

Is Andor available on Netflix?

The series will inevitably show how the need for rebellion will spread across the galaxy but unfortunately, it will not make it to the streaming service. Andor is not available on Netflix, and any Jedi would probably tell you it’s unlikely the show will ever be on the service.

But before subscribers start turning to the dark side, they should know that the streamer does offer a path that leads to some solid sci-fi titles ready to stream now. Some of these entertaining shows include Lost in SpaceStranger ThingsThe Umbrella Academy, and Black Mirror.

Andor is exclusively available on Disney Plus. The series is another excellent addition to a lineup that includes She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, The Mandalorian, and Obi-Wan Kenobi.
