Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is the newest anime on the block, and it’s wickedly entertaining!

Similar to the rush you felt while watching action-packed shows like Devilman Crybaby and Tekken: Bloodline, this 2022 release will take you on a wild ride like no other. We would even say, by the end of your binge-watch, you’ll be dying to be a part of the nightlife just like David Martinez and his fellow edgerunners.

Of course, there’s only one way to know whether we’re lying when we say that this is an anime you aren’t going to forget. But before you do turn on the TV to stream all ten episodes of this epic anime, we want to fill you in on Cyberpunk: Edgerunners‘ age rating just in case any of your younger ones are also drawn to the appeal of the series.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners age rating

We know, we know. The array of colors and the sick soundtrack is enough to make anyone want to stream this anime. However, unfortunately, only those 17 years of age and older should tune in.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners has a TV-MA age rating because of the anime’s many scenes involving violence, strong language, nudity, and many more things that aren’t appropriate for kids.

It is also worth mentioning that Netflix allowed audiences to watch either the NSFW version of the trailer or the SFW version, the latter of which you can check out below.

We hope your kids are not too bummed about not being able to watch this 2022 original series. But if they are, allow us to give you a few recommendations.

Anime like Cyberpunk: Edgerunners

Anime titles that are kid-friendly and similar to Cyberpunk: Edgerunners include Kiznaiver, Bubble, and SK8 the Infinity. These anime are great places to start because every one of their respective characters has a unique adventurous side that takes them to a place they could never have imagined.

Also, they’re fairly easy to watch in a single sitting, mainly because Bubble is a film, while Kiznaiver and SK8 the Infinity only have one season each.
