It was Daniel and Johnny against Terry in Cobra Kai season 5. How did the 10-episode season come to an end? What happened to Cobra Kai?

It was everyone against Terry by the end of Cobra Kai season 5. At least, it was most people against Terry. Amanda had realized just why Daniel was going so hard against Terry, and Chozen wasn’t backing down from a fight. After the loss of his furniture store, even Mike Barnes is there to take down Terry.

After a drunken night out, Mike, Johnny, and Chozen head to Terry’s HQ while Sam, Miguel, Robby, and the other kids head to Cobra Kai HQ to get the footage of Terry admitting that he paid off the ref during the All Valley Tournament. Of course, Cobra Kai turned up to stop the kids, while Terry was ready with his goons to take down those attacking him.

Johnny wasn’t with the other guys. He was able to call Amanda, who was at home with Carmen. Just as that happened, Sting Ray turned up finally ready to do the right thing. How did it all go down in the Cobra Kai season 5 finale?

The kids get the footage in the Cobra Kai season 5 finale

After Tory admitted the truth, the kids got to Cobra Kai to get the footage. They found it, but not before the Cobra Kai kids turned up. It turned out that one of their own turned against them, which wasn’t surprising considering there was name-calling involved.

A fight broke out, and it was Anthony who ended up with the iPad. He needed to wait for the video to upload to the Cobra Kai system and play the video for all the kids. They used a skill they learned in training with Chozen. Anthony became the egg for the rest of the team to protect, and that’s exactly what they did.

Terry’s men take down the threat

There was a moment when we feared the worst. Terry and Chozen fought, and it looked like Chozen was going to win. Just then, Terry sliced Chozen with a sword and left the man for dead. Terry even thought Chozen was dead.

After that, Terry left the rest of his goons to kill Johnny. It looked like Johnny was going to lose but he got a second wind after seeing the sonograph of his unborn baby. He wasn’t going to die that night. It also helped that Mike managed to recover from being knocked out and took down the last couple of goons.

While all that happened, Terry got to his dojo but it was too late. The video of him admitting things to Tory was on the screen. The kids realized that the man they followed had no honor. Those he’d hired from Japan also realized the same thing. On top of that, Sting Ray was willing to tell the cops the truth, leading to Terry being the one arrested by the end of the episode.

Everyone else got the medical help they needed. That included Chozen, who turned out to be alive still but badly bleeding.

The Cobra Kai kids seem to be on the side of the good guys now. How long will that last?

What happened to Kreese in the Cobra Kai season 5 finale?

At the very beginning of the Cobra Kai season 5 finale, Kreese was stabbed to death. At least, that’s what it looked like.

At the very end, we find out that it was all a ploy to escape. The doctor shares that it’s not blood but red jelly, and that’s when Kreese gets up. He manages to get into the doctor’s clothing and we learn that he stole his psychiatrist’s key card.

The ending has Kreese walking free, but it’s only a matter of time before everyone finds out the truth. We’ll have to wait for Cobra Kai season 6 to see what’s to come next.
