Is Home Improvement starring Tim Allen on Netflix? (Where to stream)
The classic ’90s sitcom Home Improvement is set to return to streaming very soon. If you’re wondering where you’ll be able to watch the family sitcom, we’re happy to share its streaming home right below.
Home Improvement is a television series created by Matt Williams, Carmen Finestra, and David McFadzean. It aired on ABC from 1991 to 1999 for a total of eight seasons. Additionally, it was one of the most watched shows in the U.S. in the ’90s. It even garnered numerous accolades, including a Golden Globe and multiple Kids’ Choice Awards and People’s Choice Awards.
It stars Tim Allen as Tim Taylor, a television host of his own home improvement show in Detroit, Michigan. The story follows Tim as he and his wife struggle to raise their three kids, who are quickly approaching adulthood. Luckily for the Taylors, they have a next-door neighbor who always offers guidance for all their personal and family problems.
Besides Tim Allen, Patricia Richardson, Earl Hindman, Taran Noah Smith, Jonathan Taylor Thomas, Zachery Ty Bryan, Richard Karn, and Debbe Dunning star in the series.
Will Home Improvement be on Netflix?
Unfortunately, the family sitcom will not be available to stream on Netflix. Instead, it will be on another streaming service. However, you can always check out Netflix’s selection of family sitcoms streaming right now. We recommend checking out Fuller House, One Day at a Time, Family Reunion and Country Comfort.
Where to stream Home Improvement
According to TVLine, all eight seasons of Home Improvement will be released on Hulu on Friday, Sept. 9, 2022. The show had been available to stream on Hulu in the past but was removed in 2019.
It isn’t surprising that the show is returning to Hulu because other content of Allen’s is already streaming on the platform, such as Last Man Standing and Assembly Required. Hopefully, more of Allen’s content will be added to the streamer in the future.
