Alchemy of Souls premiered on Netflix around the same time as Extraordinary Attorney Woo and was another hit for the streamer. New episodes were dropped every Saturday and Sunday until the season finale on Aug. 28.

It’s a fantasy series that follows a powerful mage named Nak-su whose soul gets accidentally trapped in a blind woman’s body. Then, she encounters a man from a noble family who seeks her help in changing his destiny. Once the mage begins working for the nobleman, she secretly teaches him how to fight.

Critics and viewers alike have applauded the series for its well-written characters, action-packed scenes, unexpected twists, and amazing CGI and plot.

Luckily, fans don’t have to say goodbye to the fantasy series just yet because an Alchemy of Souls season 2 is already confirmed. Production on season 2 is currently underway and is set to be released sometime in December 2022. The second season will have 10 episodes, so there will be plenty to watch and enjoy. We’ll definitely share the official release date for Alchemy of Souls season 2 once it’s announced.
