Love in the Villa cast: Who’s in the Netflix romantic comedy?

We’ll be starting off a new month right with the release of the romantic comedy Love in the Villa on Sept. 1. Besides action flicks, rom-coms seem to have taken over the summer and we’re definitely not complaining!

Love in the Villa stars Netflix rom-com veteran Kat Graham and The Umbrella Academy‘s Tom Hopper as two people whose initial meeting starts off rocky but blossoms into something so much more. And it all happens in the City of Love: Verona, Italy.

Graham plays the role of Julie, a teacher whose dream trip to Verona, Italy, doesn’t go as planned after her long-term boyfriend breaks up with her. Then, things take a turn for the worse when Julie arrives at her rented romantic villa to find out it’s been double booked, and she has to share the villa with an annoying yet attractive stranger (Tom Hopper).

As mentioned above, Graham portrays the protagonist in the film. Graham is best known for her role as Bonnie Bennett in The Vampire Diaries. She also had roles in All Eyez on Me, How It Ends, Netflix’s The Holiday Calendar, Cut Throat City, Operation Christmas Drop, Heatwave and Collide.

Hopper, on the other hand, plays the role of Charlie. According to EW, Charlie is an uptight British guy who travels to Verona once a year for his job. Hopper is best known for his role as Luther Hargreeves/Number One in The Umbrella Academy. However, he’s also had roles in Merlin, Northmen – A Viking Saga, Black Sails and Game of Thrones.
