Somehow, the end of August is already here and besides the start of school and winter being way too close for comfort, it also means Netflix is adding a ton of new movies and shows.

This week, the streaming service is adding a new rom-com, a new horror miniseries, and a new comedy series.

First up this week is Love in the Villa. It hits Netflix on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022. The new movie follows a young woman who has to make a trip to Verona, Italy on her own when her boyfriend breaks up with her.

When she gets there, she finds that the villa she booked is also being occupied by a cynical British man.  At first, they are at each other’s throats, but as they spend more time together, they find a connection that neither of them expected.

Netflix is adding Devil in Ohio and Fakes this week

The film stars The Umbrella Academys Tom Hopper and The Vampire Diaries‘s Kat Graham as the two main characters.

This week also brings a new horror miniseries in Devil in Ohio on Friday, Sept. 2. The series tells the story of a psychiatrist who takes in a girl who has escaped from a mysterious cult. Unfortunately, it may take more than a simple request to get the girl to leave.

The series stars Emily Deschanel, Stacey Farber, Alisha Newton, Same Jaeger, Madeleine Arthur, Tahmoh Penikett, Gerardo Celasco, Samantha Ferris, and Kennan Tracey
