Is Five Days at Memorial on Netflix?

The medical drama miniseries Five Days At Memorial is based on actual events, and many subscribers are most assuredly wondering if they can experience it on Netflix.

The miniseries is based on the book published in 2013 called Five Days at Memorial: Life and Death in a Storm-Ravaged Hospital penned by author Sheri Fink and follows the medical staff stranded at a New Orleans hospital during Hurricane Katrina. While navigating the harrowing ordeal, they are forced to make difficult decisions regarding the remaining patients.

The cast of the medical drama is led by Vera Farmiga, who fans recognize from The Conjuring films and the show Bates Motel. Also in the lineup for the miniseries is a talented group of players that includes Adepero Oduye, Cornelius Smith Jr., Julie Ann Emery, Cherry Jones, Molly Hager and Michael Gaston.

The series is co-written and co-directed by John Ridley, whose credits include 12 Years a Slave and Godfather of Harlem. The other co-writer and co-creator of Five Days at Memorial is Carlton Cuse, known for his work on Lost and Locke & Key. The show will consist of eight entries.

Is Five Days at Memorial available on Netflix?

There are many excellent titles fans are excited to see, and it’s not surprising there is a lot of interest in the miniseries. Unfortunately, subscribers can’t check out Five Days at Memorial on Netflix because it is not one of the many options available to stream.

While not having the medical drama in the mix feels like a less than stellar diagnosis, the streamer does have a cure for those in need of titles from the stirring genre. Some of the compelling projects available to watch now include Virgin River, Hospital Playlist, Life and Grey’s Anatomy.

Five Days at Memorial is only available on Apple TV+ starting on August 12, 2022. The highly anticipated title joins a lineup that includes The Essex Serpent, The Morning Show and Shining Girls.
