On Aug. 12, Netflix will drop the third season of Never Have I Ever, and we’re so excited to see the brand new season. However, before everyone starts their binge-session on Never Have I Ever season 3, it’s important to know the parents guide and age rating.

Never Have I Ever season 2 ended with Daxton (Devi and Paxton) officially getting together and Ben finding out through Eleanor that Devi had feelings for him. Then, we see Fabiola and Eve confess their love to each other, Eleanor and Trent dance together at the winter formal, and Kamala leaves her proposal dinner to be with Mr. Kulkarni.

There’s obviously so much to unpack in the upcoming third season, and we can expect more drama as usual. How will Devi and Paxton navigate as an official couple? Ben is dating Aneesa, but how will their relationship be affected with him obviously still having feelings for Devi? Will Eleanor and Trent get together? Fabiola and Eve seem strong as ever after confessing their love for one another, but could there be problems on the horizon? Lastly, how will Pati feel about Kamala choosing Mr. Kulkarni over her fiancé?

Fortunately, all of these questions should be answered in Never Have I Ever season 3. So is the third season okay to watch with kids? Without further ado, here’s the parents guide and age rating.

Never Have I Ever season 3 parents guide and age rating

Never Have I Ever season 3 is rated TV-14, meaning it may not be suitable for ages 14 and under. If you’ve been watching Never Have I Ever since the very beginning, you’d know that TV-14 has always been the age rating for the teen series.

It was given this age rating for the strong language used by some characters, underage drinking, mild violence, mature content discussed, kissing and intimate scenes, substance use, and suggestive dialogue. Overall, this season contains material that many parents would consider inappropriate for a younger audience to be watching. Parents are strongly cautioned.

Take a look at the official trailer of Never Have I Ever season 3 for a sneak peek!

As you can see in the trailer, there was swearing by some of the characters, characters are shown making out, and the use of suggestive dialogue. Obviously, this isn’t a show for younger audiences. If you have kids under the age of 14, we suggest browsing Netflix’s kid section and finding something else for them to watch.
