Is Prey on Netflix?

The Predator legacy started with the 1987 film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger fighting the titular alien in the jungle. The sequel in 1982 saw the extraterrestrial sports hunter heading to the urban jungle of Manhattan to take on Danny Glover. The Predators feature that followed years later saw the ugly beasts taking on a group of Earth’s most dangerous killers. After a poorly received reboot attempt in The Predator, the franchise has returned with a brand new chapter fans will not want to miss.

Prey acts as a prequel to the first four Predator films and takes place in the Comanche Nation in the year 1719. The narrative will serve as an origin story for the alien race explaining how they first arrived on Earth. In the film, a skilled warrior named Naru attempts to prove herself by hunting an unknown prey from another world, only to discover she is being pursued by a highly evolved alien with next-level technology.

Serving as director for Prey is Dan Trachtenberg, whose credit includes 10 Cloverfield Lane as well as directing episodes of Black Mirror, The Lost Symbol and The Boys. As far as casting goes, starring in Prey is Amber Midthunder, who fans will recognize from Roswell, New Mexico, and Legion. Also in the cast are Dakota Beavers, Dane DiLiegro, Stormee Kipp, Michelle Thrush and Julian Black Antelope. But can subscribers to Netflix watch the thrilling science fiction flick?

Is Prey available on Netflix?

It would be simply out of this world if fans could watch the fifth film in the Predator franchise on the streamer. But unfortunately, Prey is not available on Netflix at this time, and it seems quite unlikely that the current situation will change since it is a Hulu movie.

Luckily for subscribers, Netflix does have a plethora of other sci-fi action titles ready to stream right now. Some of the stellar examples available now include Outside the Wire, Black Crab, Army of the Dead and Space Sweepers.
