It has been five years since Pretty Little Liars ended and “Uber A” was finally unmAsked for us all, but the Pretty Little Liars franchise is still kicking. Two failed spinoffs later and we’re here with a brand new iteration of the series. Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin aims to be very different from previous installments as it’s billed as a horror series with slasher elements.

Developed by Riverdale creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina writer Lindsay Calhoon Bring, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin follows a brand new group of girls who start to receive horrifying messages and threats from a mysterious person who goes by “A.”

Despite the similar premises, the new show promises to be more mature and far more terrifying than the Freeform series that aired for seven seasons. And while there are easter eggs and references to the original show and books, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin follows a new cast of original characters played by Bailee Madison, Chandler Kinney, Zaria, Malia Pyles, and Maia Reficco.

Is Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin on Netflix?

Sadly no. The original show is not even on Netflix anymore and you cannot watch the new series on the platform either. But there are other shows available on Netflix that might scratch the itch for a teen drama with thriller elements. You can currently stream The Vampire Diaries, Riverdale, Tiny Pretty Things, You (not about teens, but close in tone), 13 Reasons Why, Legacies, Stranger Things and Insatiable.

Where to watch Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin
