A new comedy film titled Me Time will be making its way to Netflix in August, and we’ve created a guide of everything you need to know about the upcoming new release below!
Me Time is a comedy film starring Kevin Hart and Mark Wahlberg. John Hamburg wrote and directed the film. You might know Hamburg for his work on the comedies Little Fockers, Why Him? and I Love You, Man. Hartbeat Productions (owned by Kevin Hart) produced the movie with Hart, Hamburg, and Bryan Smiley signed on as executive producers.
Production started in August 2021 and ended sometime in October of that year. Now Netflix just announced the official release date.

Mark your calendars and clear your schedules because the comedy film will make its landing on Netflix on Friday, August 26, 2022. You can expect it to drop at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time, which is 3:00 a.m. Eastern Time. If you live in the Midwest, expect the film to drop at 2:00 a.m. Central Time.

Kevin Hart leads the cast as the protagonist, Sonny. Mark Wahlberg plays Hart’s old best friend in the film, and Regina Hall portrays Hart’s wife. Wahlberg and Hall’s character names are undisclosed.

Me Time synopsis
The story follows Sonny, a father who hasn’t had any free time to himself in years. But suddenly, Sonny’s wife takes the kids with her and he’s given a free weekend. While his wife and kids are away, Sonny decides to contact his old friend, and the two embark on a wild adventure they will never forget.
