Plastic surgeon catches heat for offering unsolicited recommendations to Stranger Things star Natalia Dyer on TikTok

Natalia Dyer fans rightfully come to the Stranger Things star’s defense after a plastic surgery practitioner, Miranda Wilson, N.P., went viral on TikTok for listing the many changes she would make to the actress’ appearance.

According to Newsweek, in the now-deleted video, Wilson stated she would begin by “treating [Dyer’s] masseter to help slim the face”. Continuing, she expressed that she would also go so far as to “add a bit of chin filler just to help fill out her chin” and then would later “add just a little bit [Botox] to the lips”. Lastly, the surgeon’s final hypothetical alteration was to “give [Dyer] a nice brow lift to help open up her eyes”.

Once all the unsolicited advice was listed, the TikToker went on to post a heavily Photoshopped picture of Natalia Dyer that included all the aforementioned alterations.

Shortly after the video went viral, fans took to social media to air out their grievances, letting everyone, especially the plastic surgeon, know that there’s absolutely nothing wrong with Natalia Dyer’s appearance.

Stranger Things fans defend Natalia Dyer from plastic surgery critiques

The TikTok may have been deleted, but that didn’t stop Twitter users from expressing their anger.

“OMG Natalia’s face is PERFECTION as it is,” one Twitter user passionately stated. “All of the things she wanted to “fix” a.k.a ruin are what gives her face character. PLEASE NATALIA DON’T LISTEN TO THEM YOU’RE SO SO SO PRETTY.”

Another stated, “this is an unbelievably gross thing to do omg”, while one fan couldn’t help but point out that, “People who are unhappy with themselves assume everyone else is too.”

Wilson hasn’t come forward with an apology to make amends with Dyer or Stranger Things fans just yet. It’s unclear if Wilson ever will express her remorse, as she seems to be posting as per usual. Even still, we’ll continue checking back on the account in the event that an apology video is posted.

Regarding how Natalia Dyer is faring, the actress has yet to speak out in light of the recent controversy. However, just like her millions of fans, we hope she knows that she’s absolutely stunning and perfect just the way she is.
