Pipa cast: Who’s in the Netflix movie Recurrence?

On July 27, Netflix will be releasing a new thriller film titled Pipa and it will surely have you at the edge of your seat and biting your nails when watching it. It’s the third and final movie in a film series consisting of two other films titled Perdida and Intuition. If you watched the first two films, you’ll want to watch Pipa to see how everything comes to a close.

Pipa, otherwise known as Recurrence, is an Argentine Netflix original movie directed by Alejandro Montiel from a screenplay co-written by Montiel, Florencia Etcheves, and Mili Roque Pitt. FAM Contenidos produced the film with Pitt and Alejandro Cacetta signed on as executive producers.

The story follows ex-cop Pipa, years after she moved to a remote town called La Quebrada in the north of Argentina for peace and the opportunity to start over. But once a teenage girl dies a tragic death, Pipa gets tangled in a murder case and is dragged back into the dark world she thought she had escaped from.

Luisana Lopilato reprises her role as Manuela Pipa Pelari, the protagonist of the film. You might recognize Lopilato from her roles in Chiquititas: Rincón de luz, Rebel’s Way, Casados con hijos and Nafta Súper.
