With the way Stranger Things season 4 ended, it’s not hard to understand why fans are on the edge of their seats to find out what happens next. The good news is that Stranger Things season 5 is in the works, though David Harbour doesn’t think it will come out until mid-2024. Oof. We’ll just have to keep our fan theories going until we get more updates.

And of course, Stranger Things season 5 will mark the end of the series. While it’s bittersweet, there’s more we can look forward to as the Duffer Brothers have revealed they will be working on a spin-off, although they haven’t divulged many details just yet. All we know is that it won’t focus on any of the main characters of Stranger Things, with the duo saying the next show will be “1000% different.”
