A new week is here and while there aren’t a ton of new movies and shows coming to Netflix, what is coming is definitely worth checking out. This week includes a new season of two Netflix originals and a new action film starring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans.

First up is season 4 of Virgin River. Everyone’s favorite romantic drama series is back on Wednesday, July 20 and it’s filled with twists and turns. The season starts out with Mel still not knowing who the father of her baby is. It’s either her deceased husband, Mark, or it’s Jack. The not knowing is starting to get to Jack (and who can blame him??). There is also the arrival of a new doctor in town who might be a new love interest for someone.

As for Hope, she will still be healing from her car accident and will deal with the after-effects of her brain injury. Brie will be trying to prove the innocence of the one she loves and also end up getting closer to Calvin’s crime syndicate.

This week also brings the arrival of season 5 of Jurassic World Camp Crustaceous. The animated show is back on Thursday, July 21 and once again, follows a group of kids who try their best to not be eaten by dinosaurs. But this season, the kids think they are going home. Unfortunately, that may not be the case.

Kenji’s father comes to the island and tries to control the dinosaurs. But while his intentions may be good, the way he does it doesn’t sit right with the kids. If they want to help the dinosaurs, they’ll need to stay on the island and fight.

The Gray Man is also headed to Netflix this week on Friday, July 22. The much-awaited film stars Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Billy Bob Thornton, Jessica Henwick, Dhanush, Alfre Woodard, and Regé-Jean Page.

The movie follows a CIA operative who accidentally uncovers a dark secret. This causes one of his former colleagues to put on bounty on his head. The bounty is big enough that it leads to multiple international assassins coming after him. The struggle is real.
