Carter is a South Korean film helmed by Jung Byung-gil from a screenplay co-written by Jung Byeong-sik and Jung Byung-gil himself. This will be the second time Jung Byung-gil and Jung Byeong-sik have worked together. Previously, they teamed up on the action-thriller The Villainess. Lee Yong-hee and Park Yun-ho are producers of the film.

Carter release date

On April 27, Netflix released its summer 2022 movie slate and Carter was included in the lineup. However, an official release date was not given at the time. Now, we finally have an official release date. You can expect the action-adventure movie to be released on Netflix on Friday, Aug. 5!

Carter synopsis

The story follows a man who wakes up in a motel room with no recollection of who he is except for a woman’s voice in his ear that calls him “Carter.” Then, he’s thrown into an exhilarating mission while running from various groups of people.

"When agent Carter (Joo Won) wakes up without his memories, he realizes there’s something new in their place: a woman’s voice from a device embedded in his ears. He starts listening to her commands while running from the CIA, the North Korean Coup and a group of infected people."
