One of the best things to happen to Lucas was meeting Max because the two have great chemistry together, which has helped Lucas develop more as a character.

In the first few seasons, Lucas didn’t have as much screen time as the rest of the cast, but the character still kept the audience’s attention. In season four, Lucas was given more to do, but it still feels like his role isn’t as important as it should be.

4. Max Mayfield

When Max Mayfield stepped onto the scene in season two of Stranger Things, it felt like a huge step into a new direction for the new cast. All the main characters had a solid foundation, and then Max stepped in and changed things.

When Max’s character was introduced, fans realized how much Lucas’s character wasn’t given the time like the others. The relationship that Max built with Eleven was enjoyable to see. Max is one of the best characters on the show.

Jonathan Byers became the person who could go above and beyond for his family and friends and still feels underrated throughout the series.

Jonathan’s character is relatable because he does everything for everyone without asking for anything In return. Jonathan’s selflessness makes his character one of the most likable characters in the series.

2. Erica Sinclair

Erica Sinclair is the younger sister of Lucas and has become a fan favorite in the series. Erica is a strong character obsessed with Dungeons and Dragons, just like her brother used to be. In the new seasons of the series, Erica shows off how smart and sassy she can be. Erica Sinclair is a minor character that is easy to like because of how she interacts with the other show characters.

1. Will Byers

Will Byers is a main character throughout the series, but after season two, it felt Will was less important and was just there in the background. Will’s personality changed after season two because he was treated as an example for the other characters because of what he went through.

Will Byers’s character went through much trauma from the beginning of the series because of what happened to him. The character development of Will Byers has been significant to see, but it feels like, after the second season, Will was just another character when he was one of the most important characters from the start.
