Netflix is adding 18 new movies and shows this week

Netflix had a huge week last week thanks to Stranger Things and while people will certainly still be watching the last two episodes of season 4, there are a bunch of other new movies and shows you can also check out this week.

The new additions include a new Netflix Original romantic comedy, a new comedy series, and a new animated kids movie.

One of the big movies this week is Hello, Goodbye and Everything in Between. The new rom-com hits Netflix on Wednesday, July 6, 2022.

The rom-com stars Ayo Edebiri and Jordan Fisher who play a couple who make a pact to break up before college. Before they do, they decide to retrace their steps for one last huge date. But after they look at all the places they experienced together, they wonder if they really should break up after all.

Boo, Bitch, a new teen miniseries, is also headed to Netflix this week on Friday, July 8. The series stars Lara Condor and Zoe Margaret Colletti and follows best friends who are seniors in high school and make one last effort to be popular in school. But when one of them becomes a ghost, she has to live her best life before it ends completely.

The Sea Beast, Netflix’s newest animated movie, is also coming to Netflix this week on Friday, July 8. The movie follows Maisie, a young girl who stowaways on a ship of a monster hunter. He is none too happy about that and tries to put her back on shore. But she gets back on the boat without him knowing.

Together, they set sail toward uncharted waters, get abandoned on an island, and discover monsters that even the monster hunter has never seen before.

The movie features the voices of Karl Urban, Dan Stevens, Zaris-Angel Hator, Jared Harris, Emily O’Brien, and Marianne Jean-Baptiste.
