Does Lucas die in Stranger Things season 4 volume 2?

Did Lucas die in Stranger Things season 4 volume 2?

We’re not going to lie, there is reason to be concerned about Lucas’s fate in season 4 volume 2 as he finds himself in a life-threatening situation in the season finale. However, we can put your mind at ease by revealing Lucas does not die in Stranger Things season 4 volume 2!

In the finale, Lucas teams up with Max as part of their plan to lure Vecna into a trap and attack him while he’s in a trance. For this plan to work, Max must act as bate and Vecna definitely falls for the trap coming for Max when she lures him to her at Creel house.

While Max is under Vecna’s trance, Jason shows up and threatens Lucas at gunpoint telling him to wake Max up from the trance or he’ll take action. Knowing the danger that could come in breaking Max out of the trance, Lucas fights Jason off in a heated fight in which Lucas takes quite a beating.

Fortunately, Lucas is able to get in a good swing and knock him out so that he can focus his attention on Max — who finds herself in a really grave situation.
