The Man from Toronto cast guide: Guide to the Netflix movie’s cast and characters

In just a couple of days, The Man from Toronto will be available to stream on Netflix and we’ll finally get to see Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson’s characters teaming up after a case of mistaken identity.

The Man from Toronto was originally scheduled to be released in theaters by Sony Pictures Releasing, but Netflix eventually picked up the streaming rights. So now, Netflix subscribers can expect the action comedy film to make its way to the streamer on June 24.

Kevin Hart portrays Teddy, a screw-up sales consultant who is forced to work together with the world’s most notorious assassin (Woody Harrelson) after the two are mistaken for one another at a holiday rental.

Woody Harrelson as Randy aka “The Man from Toronto”

Woody Harrelson plays the titular character, The Man from Toronto. He’s an Emmy award-winning actor who has over 100 acting credits to his name. Woody also has three Academy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations. He’s been acting since the late ’70s and doesn’t seem to be slowing down. We can’t wait to see him in action in The Man from Toronto.

Jasmine Matthews plays Lori, Teddy’s wife. Lori is very supportive of Teddy’s dreams and aspirations but wishes that Teddy’s dreams would finally come to fruition. For her birthday, she and Teddy decide to go on vacation to Virginia, but things quickly go left when Teddy is mistaken for The Man from Toronto.

Ellen plays the role of The Handler. She has worked as The Man from Toronto’s handler for a long time and is described as the feared assassin’s only known contact. Once Teddy becomes involved in The Man from Toronto’s business, The Handler becomes annoyed by him.
