God’s Favorite Idiot synopsis

God’s Favorite Idiot follows a man named Clark, played by Falcone, who gets struck by lightning from an unusually angelic cloud and gains the ability to glow. This causes his coworkers, which includes his girlfriend Amily, played by McCarthy, to come under the assumption that the situation he is experiencing is divine, meaning it may be somehow related to God.

It is then revealed by an angel that Clark is the messenger of God, and he has a very important task to take on moving forward. This ordinary man must hear the lord’s words and make sure to get them to the people in order to prevent the Apocalypse from going down.
