What is The Wrath of God about on Netflix?
The Wrath of God is coming to Netflix on June 15 and we want to make sure you know everything there is to know about the upcoming film before its release. Below, we’ve shared the official synopsis and so much more.
The Wrath of God, otherwise known as La ira de Dios, is an Argentinian thriller film directed by Sebastián Schnidel from a screenplay co-written by Schindel himself and Pablo Del Taso. It’s based on the book titled Slow Death Of Luciana B by Guillermo Martínez and is a Buffalo Films production.
Macarena Achaga stars in the leading role as Luciana, a young woman trying to stop the mysterious deaths surrounding her family. The rest of the cast includes Juan Minujín and Diego Peretti.

The Wrath of God synopsis
The story follows Luciana, a young woman whose family members begin mysteriously dying one after another. Although Luciana’s boss seems to support and be there for her, Luciana can’t shake the feeling that he has something to do with her family members’ deaths. With Luciana and her sister being the only family members left living, Luciana will stop at nothing to keep her and her sister alive.

"Luciana is involved in a loop of mysterious family deaths that keeps getting tighter by the minute. Her boss, an enigmatic writer, overlooks the scene with a horror veil and a guilty demeanor. While obsessively fighting to save her only remaining relative, her sister Valentina, alive, she will find herself in a crossroads between reason and death. A race against time to bring her truth out and a final blood pact to end this avengement"
The film is rated TV-MA, which means it may not be suitable for ages 17 and under. The reasoning for this age rating is because there will be content shown that many parents would deem inappropriate for kids, such as suicide, sexual violence, smoking, use of profanity, and violence. So it’s important that no kids are around before you hit play on The Wrath of God‘s title page on Netflix.
