First Kill is coming to Netflix this Friday, June 10 and it’s perfect timing as a show about gay vampires is always welcome, especially for Pride Month!

The series centers around a pair of star-crossed lovers, Juliette Fairmount and Calliope Burns, who could not be more mismatched. Juliette is a vampire and Cal is a trained monster hunter, sworn to destroy monsters like Juliette. But love finds a way, doesn’t it? Can Cal and Juliette overcome their nature to make romance work between them?

Sarah Catherine Hook as Juliette Fairmont

Sarah Catherine Hook is one of the lead actresses in the series as the vampire Juliette Fairmount, who is struggling to make her first kill.

Where have you seen her before? Sarah has been in several notable television shows lately, like Impeachment: American Crime Story, NOS4A2 and the anthology series Monsterland. She also played Debbie Glatzel in The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It.

First Kill - Imani Lewis

Imani Lewis as Calliope “Cal” Burns

Imani Lewis plays the other lead actress on the show, Calliope “Cal” Burns. She is one half of the romance between Cal and Juliette, complicated by the fact Juliette is a vampire and Cal is a trained monster hunter.

Where have you seen her before? Imani is probably best known for playing Charmaine in the Starz drama Hightown with Monica Raymund. She also starred in the movie Eighth Grade and recurred in the CBS procedural The Equalizer opposite Queen Latifah.

What’s next? Imani will appear in an upcoming episode of Flatbush Misdemeanors.

Elizabeth Mitchell - First Kill cast

Elizabeth Mitchell as Margot Fairmount

Elizabeth Mitchell is an accomplished actress and she plays Fairmount matriarch and powerful legacy vampire Margot, mother to Elinor, Juliette and Oliver, and wife of Sebastian.

Where have you seen her before? Where haven’t you seen her? Elizabeth has starred in dozens of projects over the years, but her most famous role is probably Juliet Burke in LOST. She also appeared in Outer BanksThe ExpanseDead of Summer, Once Upon a Time, ER and many other series and films. Elizabeth is also a staple in The Santa Clause movies with Tim Allen, playing Carol Calvin/Mrs. Claus in the second and third films.

What’s next? She will reprise her role as Carol in the upcoming Santa Clause series at Disney+.

Aubin Wise - First Kill cast

Aubin Wise as Talia Burns

Aubin Wise is a talented stage and screen actress who plays the Burns family matriarch Talia Burns. She is a powerful Guild hunter like the rest of her family.

Where have you seen her before? Aubin previously played the dual roles of Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds in the extremely popular musical Hamilton on Broadway. First Kill is her first leading television role, but she has previously made a guest appearance on FX’s acclaimed Atlanta.

Jason Robert Moore as Jack Burns

Jason R. Moore plays Jack Burns in the show, husband to Talia, father to Cal, Apollo and Theo, and a dedicated Guild monster hunter.

Where have you seen him before? Jason is probably best known for playing Curtis Hoyle in the Netflix Marvel series The Punisher. He has starred in many other projects like Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Kings, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and more.

What’s next? He’ll next appear in the films Sentinel and Blackdom.

Gracie Dzienny as Elinor Fairmount

Gracie Dzienny plays Juliette’s older sister Elinor Fairmount. Elinor is a legacy vampire and a mentor to Juliette and also the second-in-line to take over as the family’s matriarch in the future.

Where have you seen her before? Gracie is best known for her work on shows like Supah Ninjas, Chasing Life and Zoo. She also played Ruby Red in the short-lived Netflix series Jupiter’s Legacy and starred opposite Hailee Steinfeld in the Transformers movie Bumblebee.

Will Swenson as Sebastian Fairmount

Will Swenson is Sebastian Fairmount, father of Juliette, Elinor and Oliver, and husband to Margot. In a female-dominated house, Sebastian tends to be the more soft-spoken and considerate parent. He’s also a vampire.

Where have you seen him before? He’s known more for his work in musical theatre (he’s married to Audra McDonald!), but Will has started doing more film and television work in recent years. Netflix subscribers might recall him from Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, where he played Pan, or the one-and-done Hit & Run. He also played Philo Barnum in The Greatest Showman.

Phillip Mullings Jr. as Theo Burns

Phillip Mullings Jr. plays Theo Burns, brother to Apollo and Cal, and an expert monster hunter. He’s the pride and joy of the Burns family and has a playfully competitive relationship with his brother Apollo.

Where have you seen him before? Phillip played Patrick Lorraine in the series American Soul and Ikrimah in the TBS comedy Chad. He has made guest appearances in David Makes a ManNCIS: New OrleansMacGyver and more.

Dominic Goodman as Apollo Burns

Dominic Goodman plays Theo’s younger brother Apollo Burns, another monster hunter in the talented Burns family and brother to Cal. He can be too cocky for his own good sometimes.

Where have you seen him before? Netflix watchers might recall seeing Dominic in the movie He’s All That. He has made many guest appearances in popular shows like Young Rock, Animal Kingdom, Veronica Mars, Euphoria and more. First Kill marks Dominic’s first major television role.

Dylan McNamara as Oliver Fairmount

Dylan McNamara plays Oliver Fairmount, the black sheep of the family. Also a vampire, Oliver is estranged from parents, but tries to look out for his little sister, Juliette.

Where have you seen him before? This show is Dylan’s most significant role to date. He has appeared in small roles on shows like Euphoria and L.A.’s Finest.

What’s next? Dylan has several films in the works, including a thriller called Survival, Dustin Hoffman comedy Sam & Kate, another thriller titled Hiker and a romantic drama called Summer with Scarlett.

Jonas Dylan Allen as Ben Wheeler

Jonas Dylan Allen plays Ben Wheeler, Juliette’s long-time best friend since they were kids. Like Juliette’s Ben is also queer and the two are very supportive of each other even though Ben is unaware of Juliette’s vampire status.

Where have you seen him before? This show is Jonas’s first big role, we can’t wait to see what he does next!
