Everyone’s favorite Jedi is back in action in his own solo series, but can Netflix members enjoy the Star Wars show Obi-Wan Kenobi? Keep reading to get some more intel on this disturbance in the force.

The new series will take place a decade after the events of The Revenge of the Sith, with Kenobi having survived the dreaded Order 66 that wiped out almost all of the Jedi. Secluded on the desert planet of Tatooine, the infamous Star Wars icon watches over a ten-year-old Luke Skywalker as Darth Vader and the Inquisitors close in on the wanted member of the now-defunct Jedi order.

Ewan McGregor, who famously portrayed the character in the prequel trilogy, will be back in the titular role for the series. Also back in action will be Hayden Christensen, who played Anakin Skywalker in the first three films before ultimately transforming into the legendary villain Darth Vader.

Also in the cast for Obi-Wan Kenobi is a stellar roster of talented individuals, including Joel Edgerton, Rupert Fiend, Bonnie Peisse, Moses Ingram, Indira Varma, and Sung Kang. There will be a total of six exciting episodes from the hugely anticipated Star Wars series.

Is Obi-Wan Kenobi available on Netflix?

There may be a galaxy far, far away from where Star Wars titles are readily available for subscribers of the popular streaming service. But unfortunately, that is not really the case in this galaxy, as Obi-Wan Kenobi is not available on Netflix, and it would seem rather likely that it won’t change any time soon.

Netflix has plenty of other options when it comes to incredibly entertaining and instantly gripping science fiction shows. Some of these thought-provoking spectacles of the genre are ready to stream now, including Black Mirror, Stranger Things, The Umbrella Academy, Lost in Space and Another Earth, just to name a few.
