How old are the Stranger Things kids now? (2022)

After a painfully long wait, Stranger Things will be returning with the first part of its fourth season on May 27! Since it’s been such a long time since we’ve seen the Stranger Things kids on our screens, it’s not a surprise that many of them look completely different now. I mean, they were in their early teenage years when the sci-fi series first premiered in 2016. Now, they’re all young adults and it definitely shows. If you want to know the current ages of the Stranger Things kids, you’ve landed at the right place.

Over the seasons, we’ve gotten to see the main cast get older, but there were only small changes in comparison to now. Now that the main cast are young adults, they look less childlike, making many of us nervous about how future seasons of Stranger Things will go. Fortunately, the hair and makeup department for Stranger Things is amazing, and the cast will still look their characters’ ages in the show.

We’ve only shared the Stranger Things kids’ current ages. So to kick off the list, we’ve decided to start with fan-favorite Millie Bobby Brown.

Millie Bobby Brown age

When the science fiction series premiered in 2016, everyone couldn’t stop talking about the amazing talent that is Millie Bobby Brown. People instantly fell in love with the character Eleven and were intrigued by the actress who played her. At the time of the premiere, Millie was only 12 years old. Now almost six years later, Millie is 18 years old. She celebrated her 18th birthday this past February. Eleven, on the other hand, was 12 years old in the first season but will be 15 years old in season 4.

Finn Wolfhard age

Finn portrays Mike Wheeler in the show and people couldn’t help but root for his character and Eleven to be together. Finn was 13 years old when the show first came out and is now 19 years old. He’ll be celebrating his 20th birthday on Dec. 23. Finn’s character was 12 years old in season 1 and will be 15 years old in the fourth season.

Caleb McLaughlin age

Caleb plays Lucas Sinclair in the series. His character has been described as being loyal but strong-willed. Caleb was born on Oct. 13, 2001, making him currently 20 years old. He was 14 years old at the time of the first season premiere. Lucas was 12 years old in the first season and will be 15 years old in the upcoming fourth season.

Gaten Matarazzo age

Gaten plays Dustin Henderson in Stranger Things. Dustin is the goofy kid out of the group of friends. Gaten was 14 years old when the first season was released on Netflix. He was born on Sept. 8, 2002, making him currently 19 years old. His character was 12 years old in the first season and will be 15 years old in the fourth season.

Noah Schnapp age

Noah portrays the sweet and soft-spoken, Will Byers. In the first season, Will is 12 years old. In Stranger Things season 4, Will will be 15 years old. The actor behind the character is currently 17 years old and will be celebrating his 18th birthday on Oct. 3. Noah was only 11 years old when the first season came out, making him one of the younger cast members.

Sadie Sink age

Sadie plays Max Mayfield in the sci-fi series. We’re first introduced to her character in the season 2 premiere. Max is the younger stepsister of Billy and is described as a tomboy. She was 12 years old when she was first introduced in the show. In season 4, she’ll be 15 years old. However, Sadie is actually 20 years old. She recently celebrated her 20th birthday on April 16.
