If there’s one show that’s simultaneously one of the best television series of all time but also one of the most underrated, it’s Alias starring Jennifer Garner.

Garner starred in the ABC spy drama as Sydney Bristow, a CIA agent who learns that the “Black Ops” team she works under isn’t actually part of the CIA, but rather an enemy to the United States. She soon becomes a double agent working on the inside to bring SD-6 down.

Throughout the course of the series, which found Jennifer Garner nominated for four consecutive Emmy Awards, Alias shifted its narrative in creative and unprecedented ways, keeping the audience of the sci-fi spy thriller on the edge of their seats.

But where can fans watch the 2000s classic theses day? To find out if the series is currently streaming on Netflix or another streaming service, as well as additional information about the series, continue reading.

Where to watch Alias

On May 22, 2022, Jennifer Garner announced on Instagram that every season of Alias is now available to stream on Disney+. It’s the first time the action series has been available on the platform as they open up to more mature content outside of the family-friendly realm.

If you’re not a Disney+ subscriber, Alias can also be streamed on the Disney-owned streaming platform Hulu. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem as though the series will ever be available on Netflix again as Disney looks to retain the distribution rights to its content library.

How many seasons of Alias are there?

There are five seasons of Alias total, which amounts to 105 episodes. The first, second, third, and fourth seasons each contain 22 episodes, while the fifth and final season was shortened to 17 episodes to accommodate Jennifer Garner’s real-life pregnancy.

Since 2010, there have been murmurs of an Alias reboot swirling around ABC, and even in the past few years, Garner has been asked about returning as Sydney Bristow for a revival. But as of 2022, nothing official has been set in stone, though fans could always remain hopeful.

Does Vaughn die in Alias?

If you haven’t watched the series, then here’s your spoiler warning for a series that’s over 20 years old. In the fourth season finale, Sydney and Vaughn are driving on their way to vacation in Santa Barbara when Vaughn reveals Michael Vaughn isn’t his real name before another car crashes into Vaughn’s side of the car.

Although they survive the car accident, Vaughn is taken away and later suspected of being a double agent. Sydney later tracks him in Cape Town, where he’s shot multiple times and dies in the hospital after the couple choose a name for the baby. Of course, that’s not the end of the story as Vaughn returns later, having not really died.
