The Circle season 4 spoilers: Which players are actually catfish?

The first batch of episodes of The Circle season 4 is now streaming, and viewers were introduced to 10 new players who are all competing for the title of top influencer and to win a hefty prize.

If you’re not familiar with the popular original series, it’s about a bunch of players who participate in a game of popularity. Each player is set up in their own apartment where they can only communicate with other players through a fake social media platform called The Circle. While creating their social media profiles, they’re either allowed to play the game as themselves or as a catfish. Viewers watch players strategize, flirt, and/or befriend their way towards a grand prize of $150,000.

This season definitely kicked things off in an exciting way, with several players choosing to enter The Circle as catfishes. There is a total of four catfish players in the first set of episodes. Three catfish players are introduced in the first episode of the season. Viewers meet the last catfish player in episode 3.

Here’s the list of catfish players right below:

• Carol: Carol is played by John, a 24-year-old social media content creator from New Jersey. She is actually John’s mom. John is the first player to enter The Circle as a catfish.
• Paul: Paul is played by Parker, a 21-year-old college student from Miami. He is Parker’s dad in real life.
• Jared: In a major twist, the first top influencer (Frank) is given the opportunity to invite one new player into The Circle. The Circle shows him two social media profiles to choose from, and viewers find out in episode 2 that the player he chooses is Jared. But none of the players know that Jared is actually a catfish. He is played by pop icons Mel B and Emma Bunton (Scary Spice and Baby Spice from the Spice Girls).
• Nathan: Nathan is played by Alex, a 28-year-old commercial banker living in Scottsdale, Arizona. He enters the game in episode 3.
